Do you like what you see and hear about Nisqually Reach Nature Center, and want to know how you can become involved with our organization? We can always use help! Here are some opportunities:

Staff Volunteers

Staff volunteers are the core of our volunteer program. They staff the Nature Center during public hours, which are 12-4, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Environmental Education Volunteers

Environmental Education volunteers assist with educational programs for school groups, such as the Eye on Nature program at the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge.

Nisqually Reach Aquatic Reserve Citizen Stewardship Committee

This group of citizens monitors activities within the Aquatic Reserve and develops research projects and educational activities and materials.

Special Project Volunteers

Special Project volunteers are needed for community outreach events, such as the Nisqually Watershed Festival.
