Nature Nurtures Farm
Come to Nature Nurtures Farm next Advisory Day Afternoon - Wednesday, 3/14/18! We have 9 seats in the van, so talk to Quasar ASAP if interested. I'll try to track down the regular crew! We are working on rehabbing their children's garden & probably cleaning horse stalls. Fun times, good people, horses! Service Learning Hours! (Surprise)

Teen Council of Thurston County 
They are accepting applications for next year! Teen Council is a group run through Planned Parenthood in which teens teach sex ed to Middle and High School students. If you want an application/more information talk to Avery. (Savin)

Super Smash Bros tournament fundraiser

On April 25, 2018, during Activity Time after Session Registration, we are hosting a Super Smash Bros tournament fundraiser to benefit Blue Nile and our Ethiopian student, Bemelke. Students and staff are welcome to battle; suggested donation at least $3 per person. Sign up with a partner (or we will find you one) in the office or see Nikki if you have any questions. (Winkley)

Zero Hour Weight Lifting W/ Andy!
Want PE credit? New year's resolutions? Having started Wednesday January 3rd, I will be giving students an opportunity to do weight lifting on Monday and Wednesday mornings starting at 7:15am. All Students are welcome to join, and no weight lifting experience is required. I will be teaching weightlifting technique and exercise science to those who are interested. Students can earn PE credit! (Andy)

Scholarship Opportunities
The West Olympia Rotary Scholarship is now available and is due March 15. Any student who is attending college next year and has a history of community service (meaning all Avanti students) is eligible. Stop by Heather's office for an application or download it directly from the website:


Math tutors needed
Peer tutors needed for math Fridays from 12:20-2:20 pm. Help students create a better understanding of their Learning Plans and earn Service Learning credit at the same time. Connect with Nikki for more details or to sign up. (Winkley)
