Friday D&D Sessions
Dungeons & Dragon (D & D) sessions are now going on every Friday from 10 am to 12 pm until the end of the year. Dice and character sheets are provided. If you are interested, see Maxwell Moe about further details. (Moe)

Running Start Verification Forms are DUE
Running Start students- PLEASE turn in your verification forms! They are due Tuesday, March 13th (which is tomorrow!). We appreciate you taking responsibility to turn these in on time! (Kazda)

PI Day is Wednesday!
What do you get when you take a bovine and divide its circumference by its diameter?… A cow pi. Only two more days until Pi Day. Bring your two bucks to buy a piece of pie at lunch! (Sogn)

Showcase!

Avanti Blood Drive
Avanti will be having another blood drive on Tuesday, April 24th. Those who donated at the last drive can donate this time too! You must be at least 16 years of age to donate, 16 and 17 year olds need a permission slip, you can get those in the office. You can sign up for a time to donate in the office or simply walk in the day of. (Kolln)

Nature Nurtures Farm
Come to Nature Nurtures Farm next Advisory Day Afternoon - Wednesday, 3/14/18! We have 9 seats in the van, so talk to Quasar ASAP if interested. I'll try to track down the regular crew! We are working on rehabbing their children's garden & probably cleaning horse stalls. Fun times, good people, horses! Service Learning Hours! (Surprise)

Teen Council of Thurston County 
They are accepting applications for next year! Teen Council is a group run through Planned Parenthood in which teens teach sex ed to Middle and High School students. If you want an application/more information talk to Avery. (Savin) 

Super Smash Bros tournament fundraiser
On April 25, 2018, during Activity Time after Session Registration, we are hosting a Super Smash Bros tournament fundraiser to benefit Blue Nile and our Ethiopian student, Bemelke. Students and staff are welcome to battle; suggested donation at least $3 per person. Sign up with a partner (or we will find you one) in the office or see Nikki if you have any questions. (Winkley)

Scholarship Opportunities
The West Olympia Rotary Scholarship is now available and is due March 15. Any student who is attending college next year and has a history of community service (meaning all Avanti students) is eligible. Stop by Heather's office for an application or download it directly from the website: www.westolympiarotary.org

Breakfast!
Remember to eat the most important meal of the day at school! Avanti serves breakfast from 8:00-8:30 am each morning in the lunchroom.

Math tutors needed
Peer tutors needed for math Fridays from 12:20-2:20 pm. Help students create a better understanding of their Learning Plans and earn Service Learning credit at the same time. Connect with Nikki for more details or to sign up. (Winkley)

Assembly Announcements form
You must fill out this form (click here)! if you wish to make announcements at the Assembly. We will now be taking surveys so that announcements will maintain relevance to school activities. Only people who fill out this survey and get approval will be allowed to make announcements. (ASB)
