Reminder for those taking the Smarter-Balanced English Test starting tomorrow.
We start at 8:20 am. Each day you should be done by about 11:00 am.

Volunteer Training for the Crisis Clinic
Great service learning opportunity! You can earn 60+ hours of training to be a phone line volunteer at the Crisis Clinic. Training starts March 30th- soon! Call 360-586-2888 x114 or email See Heather in the counseling office for more information. (Kazda)

AP Exam money is due in a week!
Those that are planning on taking an AP exam, please get your money in soonest!

Smarter-Balanced Mathematics Assessment
This information is a change from what was communicated earlier: OSPI will required all 10th graders, class of 2020, to take the Math Assessment this year. We have scheduled that for May 2nd & 3rd. The 11th grade test for students who have not passed the SB or EoC Math will be held as scheduled, May 30 & 31st. Letters will be handed out during conferences with more details. Friday D&D Sessions
Dungeons & Dragon (D & D) sessions are now going on every Friday from 10 am to 12 pm until the end of the year. Dice and character sheets are provided, but it is encouraged for people to make their own beforehand. If you are interested, see Maxwell Moe about further details. (Moe)

Avanti Blood Drive
Avanti will be having another blood drive on Tuesday, April 24th. Those who donated at the last drive can donate this time too! You must be at least 16 years of age to donate, 16 and 17 year olds need a permission slip, you can get those in the office. You can sign up for a time to donate in the office or simply walk in the day of. (Kolln)

Teen Council of Thurston County 
They are accepting applications for next year! Teen Council is a group run through Planned Parenthood in which teens teach sex ed to Middle and High School students. If you want an application/more information talk to Avery. (Savin) 

Super Smash Bros tournament fundraiser
On April 25, 2018, during Activity Time after Session Registration, we are hosting a Super Smash Bros tournament fundraiser to benefit Blue Nile and our Ethiopian student, Bemelke. Students and staff are welcome to battle; suggested donation at least $3 per person. Sign up with a partner (or we will find you one) in the office or see Nikki if you have any questions. (Winkley)


Remember to eat the most important meal of the day at school! Avanti serves breakfast from 8:00-8:30 am each morning in the lunchroom.

Math tutors needed
Peer tutors needed for math Fridays from 12:20-2:20 pm. Help students create a better understanding of their Learning Plans and earn Service Learning credit at the same time. Connect with Nikki for more details or to sign up. (Winkley)
